Early
morning fog on El Toro
October Through April can offer great climbing conditions at El Potrero Chico. Highs in
the 70's-90's (Farenheit) lows in the 30's-60's. During winter the days usually start with a morning fog on El Toro (The Bull)
which dissipates by 10am to clear skies. The months of June through September are considered summer months and make climbing
a bit extreme due to 90's-100+ temperatures. During the summer season you can climb in the mornings and evenings.
